Rochester Community Animal Clinic (RCAC), a high-volume, high-quality spay/neuter and vaccine clinic serving Rochester, New York,seeks a Full-Time Veterinary Medical Director to lead our team at our dynamic veterinary hospital.

Who we are looking for:
  • An experienced Veterinary Medical Director who thrives on leading and overseeing a remarkable medical team, ensuring outstanding veterinary care and client service that goes above and beyond expectations.
  • A leader who wants to be part of a team with a family feel and enjoys providing basic education & wellness care— including vaccines, routine testing, and parasite prevention---to animals owned by low-income clients and rescue organizations.
  • A veterinarian who desires and can work with our large and active feral cat (TNVR) community.
  • A leader who cultivates a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, growth, and professional development among all staff members.
  • A veterinarian who enjoys working closely with hospital managers to oversee the hospital's day-to-day operations and serves as a liaison between regional leadership and the hospital team.
  • A leader who enjoys a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading a dynamic team.
  • A strong communicator who loves building relationships with their team and our clients. 
  • A veterinarian comfortable with advanced medicine cases and proficient with surgery.

Compensation is negotiable based on credentials and experience, with an annual salary range from $120,000 to $140,000. The salary will be based on various factors, including your skills, qualifications, and experience.
