This position is crucial in helping us meet our staffing goals and ensuring that our clients receive the best care possible.
Job Description:
As a Recruiting Specialist, you will play a vital role in our team by coordinating the hiring process, scheduling caregivers, and ensuring the best possible match between clients and caregivers. Your responsibilities will include:
- Communicating with caregiver applicants, current staff members, and new clients regarding caregiving-related matters.
- Sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating terms of employment with new caregiver applicants.
- Coordinating with current employees to create schedules that meet the needs of our clients.
- Contacting new clients and collecting all necessary information to provide our services.
- Participating in grassroots recruiting efforts, which may involve regional travel throughout Maryland.
- Providing on-call weekend coverage on a rotational basis.
- Assisting with client/caregiver scheduling tasks
- Assisting with various tasks to enhance our business operations as needed.
Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with full lifecycle recruiting and onboarding procedures.
- Previous experience working as a member of a team.
- Ability to handle workplace conflicts with professionalism.
- Reliability, dependability, and maturity.
- Minimum of 1 year of HR or recruiting experience, or a combination of a Bachelor's Degree and relevant experience.
Location: Remote but must live in DC or Maryland.
Job Type: Part-time (20-25 hours per week).
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 2 PM, with potential on-call weekends in rotation if desired
Salary: $18-$20 per hour (depending on experience); additional hours as business needs arise
