Thurn Partners is working on behalf of a globally leading systematic investment group to identify talented and personable software engineers to build out and optimise his team's trading infrastructure and tools. Despite year on year growth in profits, the wider business remains nimble which can be credited to a combination of their industry-leading tech set up, and selectiveness in hiring. The fund is selective both with regards to candidates' technical abilities, as much as cultural fit: focus on hiring humble, bright and enthusiastic people with a real desire to innovate.

Set Up:

• Head count of ~70 globally.
• Small, dynamic tech teams. All engineers report to one of two co-CTOs.
• No IP walls- full exposure to strategy and trade-lifecycle.
• Flexible working- 2-4 days a week in office depending on what best suits.

About You:

• We envision that the successful is likely to come from tech.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• 1-6 years of experience.
• Full Python proficiency (SQL / Relational Database exp. is a massive plus. C and Java also relevant).
• Evidenced Experience: Implementing robust workflows for processing structured and unstructured financial datasets. Contributing to internal microservice-based infrastructure platform. Developing web-based tools for internal teams and users.
• Collaborative, enthusiastic, comfortable with feedback.
