Your responsibilities

Summary of Position :

To accurately provide price and delivery for all our products to our customers in a timely and courteous fashion, utilizing organization and negotiating techniques, and applying resourcefulness and strong attention to detail while converting inquiries into orders.

Answer customer questions concerning products / services and their orders. Develop target and non-major accounts into loyal customers.

General Responsibilities :

  • Order entry and releases
  • Managing customer bill of goods
  • Coordinate internal and external processing
  • Communicate via phone, fax and e-mail with internal and external customers
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Provide customer service, responding in a timely manner
  • Communications with Management / Outside Sales to keep account information current
  • Occasional customer visit
  • Responsibilities include but are not limited to the above

Account Management including :

  • Planning / controlling inventory in accordance with customer forecasts and company turnover goals
  • Delivery scheduling and expediting
  • Price maintenance and updating
  • Growth of market share
  • Meets TKMNA Employee Attributes / Competencies

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements :

  • Product knowledge in Aluminum / Stainless Steel is a plus
  • At least 2 years Inside Sales or Customer Service experience
  • Excellent computer skills, including Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook
  • Interpersonal skills necessary in order to sell, negotiate and close business with customers
  • Effective communication and listening skills necessary when answering phone calls from customers and associating with peers.

Preferred Requirements :

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field or comparable experience
  • SAP experience preferred but not required
  • Attention to detail in order to evaluate customers accounts and orders
