TIAG is Hiring a Security Systems Project Manager Near Charleston, SC

TIAG is now hiring an Security Systems Project Manager to join our team supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) in Charleston, SC.
On this program, TIAG will support NIWC in developing and implementing a next generation, cloud-enabled, physical security access control system to ensure authorized personnel to gain access to barracks doors aligned with controlled access requirements.
This position is located in Charleston, SC and requires travel within the state as needed.
Position Responsibilities
  • Manages, oversees, and coordinates all aspects of the projects from award through completion
  • Managing customer expectations, customer and internal communications and project budget closely
  • Prepares project installation plan/master schedule, manages the plan, and prepares/implements procedures
  • Responsible for leading, installing and maintaining customer access control systems; to include equipment and licensing. Ability to organize workload in an efficient, effective manner
  • Ability to successfully install complex security systems, including card access, IDS and associated cabling/power requirements
  • Hands-on experience in commercial access control and networked IP
  • Troubleshoot computer network VLAN’s, switches, servers, Power-over-Ethernet as necessary
  • Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, and services, and controls timely delivery to jobsite
  • Maintains all records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records and supervises the preparation and processing of reports for internal and external use
  • Manage other technicians on projects and responsible for labor hours and materials
  • Solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
  • Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, and services, and controls timely delivery to jobsite
  • Maintains all records of job status, job changes, material flow and other control records and supervises the preparation and processing of reports for internal and external use
  • Assures quality of task products, services, and deliverables, including participating in reviews, audits, and site visits
  • Strong risk, issue and opportunity tracking internally and externally with customers
  • Leads teams in the system engineering process, including requirements gathering, Analysis of Alternatives (AOA), analysis and design, tools and technologies, cybersecurity, contemporary testing methodologies, implementation
  • Prepare contract deliverables, adhoc reporting requirements, and support proposal efforts in a responsive, timely and quality manner
  • Prepare and deliver annual performance reviews and assessments with project delivery teams
Required Experience
  • DoD Public Trust
  • Experience with LenelS2 products and OnGuard software
  • Bachelors Degree from accredited University in Computer Science, Information Technology, Project Management or related field preferred
  • Demonstrated experience managing information technology and/or engineering projects, preferably for a DoN or DoD organization. Experience must include planning, managing and implementing projects to meet cost, performance and schedule requirements and usage of industry-standard project management tools and methodologies.
  • 8 years of experience with project management, preferably in a DoD environment.
  • 3 years of direct experience leading access control implementation projects preferred.
  • 1-3 years experience in DoD Risk Management Framework, preferably with ESS Certifications and Accreditations
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus. Ability to interact effectively with colleagues, customers, & other trade contacts
  • Demonstrated experience managing conflict and conflict resolution techniques to ensure team delivery and collaboration.
  • Ability to manage time well to meet assigned milestones
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints
  • Experience managing project financials
  • Proficient in Project Scheduling and Project Lifecycle best practices
  • Security certification
