Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Beer Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our guests have an unforgettable dining experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, while also honing your skills in food service, sales, and hospitality.

Duties:

- Greet and welcome guests, ensuring they have a positive and memorable experience.
- Take orders and deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Handle cash and operate a cash register accurately, handling transactions and making change as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including the bar and restaurant floor.
- Utilize Toast POS to manage orders, track inventory, and complete transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure that all guests receive prompt and attentive service.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Ensure that all food and beverages are served in a clean and safe manner, adhering to food handling and safety regulations.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge of industry trends and retail math.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in the food service industry, preferably in a restaurant or bar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once.
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately handle cash transactions.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- A positive and professional attitude, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Preferred:

- Familiarity with Toast POS or a similar point-of-sale system.
- Cicerone Certified Beer Server.
- Knowledge of brewing practices and ingredients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
