Full-Time Service Manager and Staff Supervisor
TIDES LLC is a locally owned home and community-based Medicaid service provider, supporting children and adults who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities; celebrating our 10th year in business! Currently TIDES is seeking an experienced Service Manager and Supervisor to join our team in Juneau, Alaska. This position manages a caseload of recipients who experience developmental disabilities, while managing a team of Direct Service Professionals and overseeing the day-to-day services. The right person has the opportunity to build a career in direct service while being a part of a dynamic team of passionate caregiving professionals who strive to work together to promote and prioritize community inclusion and participation.
The ideal candidate has positive energy, a can-do attitude, demonstrate strong communication skills, and takes initiative. This position has a strong emphasis on managing a team of caregivers, and ensuring the expectations of care are upheld every day, as outlined in individual plans of care.
Responsibilities Include
- Managing a caseload of individuals who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Oversee the day to day provision of home and community-based services for recipients and employees on caseload.
- Supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals, providing ongoing leadership development and completing performance evaluations and offering solution based feedback on an ongoing basis.
- Be responsible for the scheduling needs of your caseload, and work with other Service Managers to ensure all scheduling needs for the company are met.
- Contribute to and maintain a positive work environment for recipients, families, partner agencies, and employees.
Qualifications
- Applicants must have passion and experience to provide outstanding services to individuals who experience intellectual and developmental disabilities, and to contribute to the leadership of this dynamic company.
- Strong communication skills are vital in this high relationship field. Passive communication is not accepted. This position requires ongoing in person and over the phone communication.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to be a team player and demonstrate strong leadership skills.
- Supervisory experience preferred, Management experience is required.

Job Status: Full-time
Pay: This position will start out as hourly between the rate of $26.00-$30.00/hour depending on experience. There is salary growth potential in this position, with those who demonstrate the ability to execute the expectations of the job.
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule depending on the caseload, but primarily Monday-Friday.
- Paid time off starting at an accrual of 3 weeks per year, maxing out at 5 weeks per year.
- Paid Holidays - 9 paid holidays.
