**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Aide to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist the Physical Therapist in providing care to patients and support the overall functioning of the physical therapy department.
**Duties:**
- Assist in preparing treatment areas for patient care (sanitizing beds, changing linens).
- Greet patients, prepare hot/cold packs, gather equipment that may be used by the therapists such as ultrasound, e-stim etc.
- Aids patients in performing therapeutic exercises, monitors and communicates effectively.
- Helps with ambulation and transfers.
- Completes janitorial responsibilities as needed.
- Assists in the office/clinic with related duties as needed.
**Requirements:**
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Reliability, dedication and an interest in working with patients
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a caring attitude.
