Tidewater Staffing Solutions is assisting our Shaker Heights headquartered client with the search for an Accounts Receivable and Medical Billing Specialist. This is a long-term temporary role (estimated 6 months).

Main Duties:

• Performs collection activities to follow-up on unpaid payor transactions and researches discrepancies.
• Confers with private and public insurance companies by telephone in an attempt to determine reason for overdue payment, reviewing terms of contracts, services delivered, and authorizations with payor.
• Answe account receivable phone inquiries and follow up.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or 3-5 years of related experience.
• ERP experience, Great Plains is a plus.
• Medical insurance background is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
