Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Hospitality and Multi-Family General Contractor in the Orange County, CA area on their search for a Project Executive with 10 years of experience overseeing the designing, selling, and managing all aspects of the construction process on a day-to-day basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all contract administration, client relations, and oversight of the construction project schedules, quality of deliverables, overall project cost, and worker safety.

Title: Project Executive/Senior Project Manager (10 years)

Project Types: Multi-Family, Mixed-Use, High-Rise, Hospitality, Higher Education, and Mixed Commercial

Responsibilities:

• Maintain the Project Schedule by directing the work of contractors so as to achieve the prescribed logical sequence of Work, maintain the scheduled duration of the components of the Work, resolve conflicts as they may arise, and obtain responses from the Project Engineer to requests for information from the field.
• Work with Business Development to develop new or renewed client relationships
• Ensure that quality control meets Company standards.
• Ensure that each assigned project is run efficiently to maximize profitability, remains on schedule, and within budget
• Recruit, train, coach, mentor and oversee supervision of qualified construction personnel.
• Be the point person for all field issues pertaining to projects including material quantity issues, and other-vendor issues
• Oversight of all Schedule Management by coordinating with all Superintendents throughout the duration of the project to ensure the project is completed in compliance with all contractual requirements.
• Review and oversee all materials, documentation, and quality of performance to ensure conformance of the plans and specifications.
• Contribute to the preparation and development of proposals and final bid documentation.
• Ensure that all contractors are using the appropriate and current revision to the plans in the field.
• Ensure that all contractors are utilizing proper means and methods so as to facilitate coordination with other contractors, promote job site safety and efficiency and timeliness of work.

Skills & Qualifications:

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• 10 year’s extensive construction experience in all facets of the project and in safety/preconstruction/staff development, project deliverables, and retention/customer interaction.
• 10 years experience as a Project Manager/Senior Project Manager managing large Multi-Family, Mixed-Use, Education, Hospitality, and/or commercial projects (mixed portfolio is preferred).
• Above average knowledge of construction practices and trades
• Proficient in Procore, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook other tools used for communication purposes
• Must have the ability to work independently, be self-directed, and able to take the initiative in seeking efficiencies of processes
