Compensation: $190-200K base plus 1-2% equity

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an extraordinary and accomplished Vice President of K-12 Partnerships and Growth to lead their elite Business Development team in Raleigh, NC. This prestigious role encompasses oversight of sales, customer support, and marketing functions, ensuring that our state-of-the-art products meet rigorous state requirements. The VP will command the daily operations of the team, cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, and devise groundbreaking strategies to propel business growth. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven visionary with a proven history of leading and nurturing high-performing teams. Reporting directly to the CEO, this influential leader will serve as a prominent voice within the Leadership team, representing the pinnacle of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:

·Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute visionary strategic plans to achieve state-level excellence.

·Team Excellence: Lead and inspire the daily activities of a diverse, high-caliber team.

·Professional Development: Mentor team members, aligning their skills, defining roles, and charting paths for career growth.

·Relationship Building: Forge and strengthen enduring relationships with key customers and strategic partners.

·Business Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities with innovative strategies.

·Cross-Functional Collaboration: Synchronize efforts with other teams to ensure alignment between customer needs and product development.

·Market Insight: Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities to uncover growth opportunities.

·Performance Reporting: Provide comprehensive reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to Leadership.

·Alignment with Goals: Coordinate with upper management to align business development initiatives with overarching company objectives.

·Team Evolution: Manage and elevate the Business Development team, resolving conflicts and offering constructive feedback with finesse.

Qualifications:

·Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

·A minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

·A minimum of 3 years of experience in education or educational technology.

·Demonstrated success in directly managing external clients.

·A distinguished track record of building and managing a diverse, high-achieving team.

·Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

·Superior communication, conflict resolution, and presentation abilities.

·Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Bonus Qualifications:

·Experience working with government contracts.

·6-12th grade public education experience.

·Expertise in marketing strategy development and implementation.

·Start-up experience.

·Proficiency in using HubSpot.
