Job Description: We are seeking a talented software engineer proficient in ArcGIS to join our team. As an ArcGIS Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing GIS applications and solutions using ESRI’s ArcGIS platform. You will collaborate closely with our development team and GIS specialists to deliver high-quality spatial solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy GIS software applications and solutions using ArcGIS technologies.
- Customize and configure ArcGIS applications as per project requirements.
- Integrate GIS functionalities with other applications and platforms.
- Collaborate with GIS analysts and stakeholders to understand project needs and requirements.
- Perform testing and debugging of GIS applications to ensure functionality and optimization.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for GIS applications and systems.
- Stay updated with ArcGIS technologies and recommend best practices for GIS development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, GIS, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience working with ArcGIS technologies such as ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or .NET, with a focus on GIS application development.
- Experience in developing and maintaining GIS databases and geospatial data management.
- Familiarity with spatial analysis and geoprocessing techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
