What are the responsibilities and job description for the Interventional Radiology Technician position at TIMESSQUARETECH NYC INC?
Duties:
- Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralist
- Strong knowledge of Floor and ceiling-mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
- The ability to identify, retrieve, and Circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases
- The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist
- The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Strong communication skills using closed-loop communication
- The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for caseload
- Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons
- Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical records and send images to Sectra/PACs system
- Groin management post-intervention
- Demonstrate the ability to provide high-quality care in a fast -paced environment
- Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast paced environment
- This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist ( CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $60.00 - $62.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
