ABOUT THE ROLE The Bar Prep Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and leading the production operations of the liquor room, coordinating the daily activities of the bar prep team, and supporting other liquor room operations. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIS:
Supervise liquor room production operations, including producing all batches and prep items, assessing and adjusting pars, stocking, and inventory management
Coordinate daily activities of bar prep team and actively contribute as a bar prep to ensure all daily production needs are met
Administer entry of daily prep and ensure proper record keeping of all production-related expenses/transfers
Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies to management
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the prep area
Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
Consistently report to scheduled shifts on time and ready to work in proper uniform
Operate ethically to protect the assets and image of the company
Performs other duties and responsibilities as per business need
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant environment as a barback or bartender
Minimum 6 months management or supervisory experience
Extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktail ingredients, and garnishes
Knowledge of alcohol service and food safety standards
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
High standards for cleanliness of workspace and service areas
Professional demeanor and polished appearance
Ability to work in an ever-changing environment
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Strong work ethic and customer-focused approach
Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Certification in responsible alcohol service (TIPS) is preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift and carry items weighing 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Ability to stand for prolong periods of time.
Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the property. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, climb steps regularly, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
COMPENSATION The base pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00 per hour.
