Role Description

We are seeking a strategic and versatile individual to join our team as Director of Operations and Business Development. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of THL by overseeing both operational functions and business development initiatives. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our company while also identifying new opportunities for growth and expansion within the Vietnamese and American media & entertainment industries.

Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for all operational functions, including logistics, production, distribution, and artist management.
• Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth and achieve organizational objectives.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for expansion within the Vietnamese and American media & entertainment industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including artists, producers, agents, venues, sponsors, and other industry players.
• Identify and pursue new revenue streams, including music sales, streaming, merchandising, events, and sponsorships.
• Streamline operational processes and procedures to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and maximize resources.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the operations and business development team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Collaborate closely with other departments, including A&R, marketing, legal, finance, and creative, to ensure alignment and integration of efforts across the organization.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of operational and business development initiatives, and regularly report on progress to senior management.

Qualifications:

• 7 years of experience in a senior leadership role within the media & entertainment industry.
• Deep understanding of the Vietnamese and American music industries
• Proven track record in business development, revenue growth, and team management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing team.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
