The PC Coordinator I, under general supervision, is responsible for troubleshooting computer network systems, installing software packages and system upgrades. Uses independent judgment and exercises discretion in executing their duties. This position requires a high degree of confidentiality.

Essential Functions

1. Support the users in a timely and orderly manner.
2. Install and work with Window based products: MS Office, etc.
3. Enhances current systems as authorized when upgrades become available and accord to system requirements.
4. Provides technical assistance in preparation of various reports and maintenance system documentation.
5. Maintains hardware and software inventory.
6. Enforces illegal software pirating.
7. Resolves computer hardware or software problems.
8. Will ensures that a secure environment is maintained for all computer equipment, data files, and supplies, etc.
9. Receives, performs and completes projects through oral and/or written instructions from a designed supervisor or user.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. High school graduate and/or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
2. Minimum two (2) year college degree in Computer Information Technology preferred or three (3) years’ experience in a related field.
3. Must have working knowledge in personal computer technology; computer equipment; application software and personal computer operating systems; installing and maintaining PC hardware and software, telephones, wireless systems and website.
4. Considerable skills in designing and preparing various reports as required.
5. Ability to plan, organize and prioritize assigned projects.
6. Ability to analyze problems and select proper corrective action.
7. Good written and oral communication skills.
8. Ability to organize tasks and work independently.
