Physician - Family Medicine or Internal Medicine

A Physician is needed in Auburn, AL at a physician-owned primary care group.

This position is with a family medicine organization that has been open for over 14 years and is run by one of the providers. They work on an integrated care model and provide high-quality services to our community.

Compensation and Benefits

• The pay structure for this role is the candidate’s choice. Salary is commensurate to experience. The candidate may also work on a production split model and be brought on as partner rather than employee. (Salary range is $240K to $260K for an experienced Physician. Split model is 45/55, physician takes 45% of each visit.)

• 80% paid for Health Insurance, Dental, and Vision.
• 2 weeks PTO.
• 5 Paid Holidays.
• Continuing Education Units (CEUs) covered.
• No weekends, nights, or holidays.
• Full support staff.

Responsibilities

• Monday – Friday (flexible hours).
• Auburn clinic is the newest clinic in this group, physician will float from the Auburn clinic to the Phenix City clinic, 50/50 during the week.
• She will consider someone for less than 5 days a week, but this will affect the quoted salary range. 
• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients. 
• 20-22 patients a day
• Supervise 1 to 2 PAs.
• No weekends.
• No on-call.

Additional Notes: The Phenix City location has two MDs, two on the peds side and two on the adult side. 2-3 PAs. The Auburn clinic currently only has one PA and one MD that float there, PA is there 3x a week, MD is there once a week. 

Requirements

• Clear and active Physician license in the state of Alabama.
• New grads will be considered. 
• If out of state candidate, will consider if willing to obtain AL licensure. Process takes 30 days.
