Tite-Dri Industries, LLC is Hiring a Quality Assurance Manager Near Boynton, FL

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance / Safety Manager to join our team. As the QA/Safety Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of Tite-Dri’s quality and Safety programs. This individual insures the plant meets current governmental safety requirements and products produced in production meet specifications established by the company.

Full Description

- Develop quality systems and procedures.

- Analyze quality data and determine with production management root cause solutions to quality defects.

- Proactively implement methods and procedures to prevent re-occurrences of common quality defects.

- Conducts training as necessary for lab technicians, operators, helpers, packers, and managers.

- Enforce safety standards, SQF standards and quality standards.

- Identify better ways to do the job.

- Champions the implementation of a continuous improvement philosophy in the company.

- Assess collected data and determine the usefulness of collected data for running the operation.

- Takes responsibility for mistakes and implements effective action plans

- Inspects the facility to identify safety, health, and environmental risks.

- Develops and implements inspection policies and procedures, and schedules routine safety inspections noting deficiencies.

- Develops written health and safety procedures for all areas of the company and trains employees on those procedures.

- Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety, and other relevant topics.

- Conducts mandatory safety meetings for all manufacturing shifts.

- Monitors compliance with safety procedures.

- Completes the OSHA 300 Safety Log.

- Preforms accident investigations and in conjunction with Production Manager and develops correction actions to prevent re-occurrence.

- Drafts inspection reports to document inspection findings.

- Ensures that material safety data sheets are maintained and readily accessible when needed.

- Maintains records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required.

- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

- Associate degree in Industrial Quality, or Occupational Safety and Health, or related field required.

- At least 1 year of related experience preferred.

- Working knowledge of safety/SQF regulations and policies.

- Excellent attention to detail with above average mathematical & statistical ability.

- Must have experience preparing for and facilitating third-party SQF audits with AIB or a similar outside auditing agency.

- Possess technical ability to understand manufacturing process.

- Knowledge of manufacturing lab practices & test procedures.

- Exceptional time management skills.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Must have superior communications skills which can easily convey ideas across organization and external partners.

- Must be resourceful and can synthesize new ideas quickly.

- Is flexible and able to react to changes as needed.

- Able to work well with others and participate in a team environment.

- Skilled in use of Microsoft Office, Statistical Software, SQF and Safety software, and other information technology resources needed for this position.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $62,400.00 per year
