Marketing Specialist, Sierra

The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career. 

The planned growth of TJX has created an opportunity for a Marketing Specialist. This position supports Sierra, an off-price, multi-channel retailer of brand name active and outdoor apparel, footwear and gear. Sierra is part of the TJX family of companies, and currently operates 100 stores in 45 markets.

The Marketing Specialist is responsible for execution of all aspects of Sierra’s multi-channel brand marketing strategy through new customer acquisition and retention efforts via various marketing initiatives (In-Store, PR, Social, and Digital Marketing).

Who We Are Looking For: You.

  • Responsible for the day-to-day execution of the Sierra brand marketing strategy and creative content calendar to drive brand goals
  • Coordinate all marketing initiatives and support the Marketing Supervisor and Manager(s) in the execution of all marketing creative content to support the multi-channel marketing plan
  • Proactively collaborate across cross-functional business teams including the Brand Creative, Channel and Site teams to implement the end-to-end content creation, from brief writing, conceptualization, design, to finalization of all creative content
  • Support the Marketing Supervisor and Manager(s) in reviews of all creative content to ensure a consistent voice in alignment with Sierra brand guidelines and messaging themes
  • Communicate effectively within and across teams such as Merchandising, Planning, Store Operations, Site, and Corporate Marketing to ensure the successful execution of all Sierra marketing content in support of marketing initiatives
  • Provides analysis of data and POV to determine campaign effectiveness
  • Coordinates and maintains the marketing budget associated with areas of responsibility, suggests opportunities to control costs
  • Research industry and customer to provide recommendations to marketing campaigns and creative content and copy
  • Support the management of marketing third party / agency resources as needed to develop Marketing campaign concepts

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of ad agency or client side Advertising/Marketing experience
  • Agency background is preferred
  • Strong organization, presentation and writing skills
  • Excellent communicator, attention to detail and ability to multi task
  • Ability to problem solve, work in the grey
  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge of traditional, digital and social media platforms

This position has a starting salary range of $60,500 to $75,600 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is hybrid and required being in the office in Framingham, MA 2 days per week and is not open to remote.
