With a steadfast commitment to love and quality, we cater to the needs of dogs, cats, and other furry friends, providing both care and reassurance to their owners. We offer a range of services, including daily vacation sitting, overnight stays, and dog walking, and we're currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team.

OVERNIGHT SITTER SCHEDULE: Spend the night in our client’s homes; starts with a 1-2-hour dinner visit, followed by a 8-hour sleeping stay and a 1-2-hour morning visit.Pet sitters must be available to work on a regular basis, including major holidays, and be able to spend 10-12hrs in the clients home. Stay and sleep at the client’s home from 6/8 pm – 6/8 am. You will be taking care of multiple pets, administering medications and walking dogs are some of the tasks.

Qualified Candidates

We're searching for customer-focused pet sitters who share our passion for animals and possess exceptional communication skills. Our ideal candidates are detail-oriented, responsible adults who are mature and reliable. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be of legal age (older applicants encouraged)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 
• Experience: Previous work in a veterinary clinic, shelter, rescue organization, pet store, or fostered pets
• Prior experience in animal-related fields is preferred but not required
• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
• Must be extremely honest, reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a high regard for customer service and commitment to excellence!
• Be able to work independently with good time management skills

• Animal handling experience around different types, sizes, and breeds of dogs, cats, and other pets. (Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, fish, etc.).
• Have the physical ability to get down on the floor with the pets, walk them, and exercise them. 
• Be able to follow instructions from the client and be detailed in your notes to them.
• Have excellent references and pass a background ground check 
• Have your own reliable vehicle and proof of insurance.

As a pet sitter with TLC, your responsibilities will include various tasks such as pet care, household chores, and client communication. You'll need to be available for regular visits, including holidays, and be comfortable making multiple stops throughout the day.

Sitters can grow their client base, with earnings ranging from approximately $200 per month (based on availability) to as much as $2000 per month, especially during major holidays and summer. Plus, you have tax write-offs as an independent contractor.
