Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, they are responsible for the direct and indirect patient care of our residents, creating and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. The CNA/MT will administer medications via oral, topical vaginal, rectal routes and by inhalation (i.e. puffs). They will be required to chart all medications given, omitted or refused. The CNA/MT will assist with the activities of daily living, including but not limited to: assisting with personal hygiene, aiding with mobility, and assisting with mealtimes.
