TM Floyd & Company is Hiring a Data Center Technician (Onsite) Near Columbia, SC

We’re looking for an Network Administrator for an onsite role in Columbia, SC. Candidate must be able to work Sunday through Thursday. If you’re looking for a new opportunity, apply today!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rack/stack network and server equipment in primary data centers
  • Support data closets/server rooms across the enterprise
  • Maintain full responsibility for Layer 1 infrastructure supporting the business

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain a low-level U.S. security clearance, which requires a thorough background screening and U.S. citizenship
  • Experience with enterprise IT equipment in data closets/data centers
  • Proficiency in tracing, running, and connecting IT cabling (copper, Ethernet, fiber, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of Layer 1 infrastructure

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, OR related field
  • Relevant certifications in network administration or data center management are a plus

This job is primarily an onsite role. You will be required to work at an onsite location. This position may allow up to 25% remote work.
