TMC Transportation has an immediate full-time opening for a Road Repair Admin Processor working out of our office in Des Moines, Iowa.

Monday-Friday 7am-4pm

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Assist repair coordinators and service providers, in a team environment, to establish the completion of tire repairs, invoice accuracy, and payment of vendor for services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

· Receives and files documents from outside vendors.

· Issue payment to vendors.

· Contact service providers to verify location, type of service provided, service hours, parts and service availability, and costs.

· Communicate effectively with drivers, vendors, Fleet Managers, and other internal personnel regarding company policies, and possible complaints.

· Evaluates invoices for appropriateness of all charges and issue payment to vendors.

· Verify maintenance records pertaining to unit repair history.

· Promote safety throughout all areas of operations.

· Ensure the awareness of and enforce company policies.

· Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

· High School degree and/or equivalent related experience required.

· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) products.

· Ability to lead, manage and direct in a fast-paced work environment.

· Must be able to plan and organize, pay attention to detail, possess problem-solving skills and multi-task.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

· Ability to speak effectively to vendors, drivers, and other internal personnel.

· Possess courteous, yet assertive telephone personality.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical requirements and work environment described are representative of those present while performing the essential functions of this job.

· Must be able to sit and use telephone and computer, simultaneously, for extended periods of time.

· Must be able to speak and hear clearly in a high volume telephone environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
