Requirements

Responsibilities :

• Assistwith food preparation including chopping vegetables preparingsauces and assemblingdishes.
• Assistin setting up and organizing kitchen stations for efficientworkflow.
• Followrecipes and instructions provided by chefs and kitchensupervisors.
• Maintaincleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area includingequipment surfaces andutensils.
• Assistin receiving storing and rotating food supplies andingredients.
• Operatekitchen equipment safely and effectively including ovens stovesmixers andslicers.
• Supportthe kitchen team during service by plating dishes garnishing platesand ensuring timely delivery of food toguests.
• Assistin packing and transporting food items to offsite catering eventsasneeded.

Requirements :

• Previousexperience in a kitchen environment is preferred but notrequired.
• Abilityto work in a fastpaced highvolume kitchenenvironment.
• Strongteamwork and communicationskills.
• Attentionto detail and ability to follow instructionsaccurately.
• Flexibilityto work evenings weekends and holidays as required by eventschedules.
• Physicalstamina to stand for long periods and lift heavyobjects.
• Foodhandlers certificate or willingness to obtainone.
• Positiveattitude and willingness to learn and grow within therole.

NOTE : This position is typically Thursday Sunday. We arelooking for candidates that we can call 48 hours before the event.

High school diploma or GED. ServSafe food handling certification ispreferred. Sound knowledge of cooking methods and techniques.

Proven experience working as a Cook. The ability to follow recipes.The ability to work in a team. The ability to stand for extendedperiods.

Effective communication skills.
