Fiscal Associate/Accounting Clerk:

Tobosa Developmental Services is seeking a Fiscal Associate/Accounting Clerk to assist in accounts payable. Building mutually productive relationships with people supported by Tobosa, family members, staff, co-workers, and other professionals is a key function of this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Accounts Payable

1. Enter information in QuickBooks.
2. Attach invoices in QuickBooks.
3. Get authorized signatures

II. Manage participant finances efficiently and effectively.

1. Post receipts and expenditures in QuickBooks file as received.
2. Monitor account balances.
3. Reconcile bank statements.
4. Maintain participant fiscal files and audit for accuracy.
5. Respond to inquiries regarding participant finances, attending meetings when necessary to share fiscal information with IDT members.

III. Assist in the efficient operation of office activities.

1. Perform general clerical duties, such as filing and typing.
2. Answer the telephone and greet the public.
3. Office supplies management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High school diploma or GED
2. Experience with accounting/bookkeeping and computer systems
3. Interest in and desire to work for an agency serving persons with developmental disabilities.
