Job Summary:

We’re searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our accounts receivable team to help secure revenue by verifying and posting receipts, invoicing, and resolving any discrepancies in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. 

Desired Qualifications:

The Ideal candidate should be highly organized, detailed oriented, and be a great team player. The Accounts Receivable Specialist position requires a High School diploma and 2-3 years of accounts receivable or related experience. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft products including Outlook and Excel. Any knowledge of Sage or QuickBooks would be helpful. Please send resume along with salary requirements.

Requirements

• Posts customer payments by recording cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Posts revenue by validating billing information and creating invoices.
• Verifies the validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from sales and from customers.
• Resolves valid or authorized deductions by entering adjusting entries.
• Create and print monthly statements.
• Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; contacting client to obtain past due balance.
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related tasks as needed.
