Together is Hiring a The Fives Venue Facility Attendant Near Columbus, OH
Our team is seeking a Venue Facility Attendant to collaborate with our operations and events teams to push our catering business to the next level. The successful candidate will focus on maintaining a guest ready venue space, event set up and tear down to ensure company standards are being upheld. This candidate is excellent at cleaning and organization, detail oriented and skilled at following through while keeping to timelines. The perfect Venue Facility Attendant will have a sense of ownership and pride over a beautiful space and act when something is out of place. This is a part-time position. Your schedule will vary based on business needs, but you will typically be scheduled in the morning and will average 25-30 hours per week. During off-peak season (January – March) you should expect to work a reduced schedule. Our ideal candidate:

Responsibilities - The Primary job of the Fives Venue Facility Assistant includes but is not limited to:
Maneuvering equipment safely and properly
Interpreting and executing a room setup diagram correctly
Maintaining a clean “guest ready” venue and workspace, including cleaning restrooms, private suites, event space and employee areas
Empty trash and recycling receptacles into the appropriate waste bins and ensure that receptacles are kept clean and free of smell
Vacuum all carpeted areas and spot clean when necessary
Sweep, mop, and polish floors using the appropriate cleaning supplies
Clean and dust furniture, ledges, light fixtures, and other hard to reach places
Wash windows, mirrors and glass surfaces and ensure they are free of streaks
Pulling display products and equipment for events
Regular upkeep of outdoor spaces including watering plants, sweeping, power washing etc.
Light handywork (painting, small repairs)
Inform Operations manager of anything that is broken or not functioning correctly so that the issue is resolved promptly
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years in porter/houseperson roles
Has references to confirm trustworthiness, timeliness, and efficiency
Proficient with interpreting diagrams, spatial navigation
Ability to lift 50 pounds, stand for 8 hours at a time, squat and bend down regularly
Valid driver's license and Insurable driving record
Must be available to work weekends
