• Serves as the point of contact for all volunteering activities at Together
• Coordinates and schedules all volunteering activities at Together
• Communicates with all programs to identify available opportunities and needs for volunteers
• Facilitates welcome and onboarding of volunteers upon their arrival to Together
• Stays present with volunteers during their volunteer activity(ies) to ensure placement is a good fit
• Engages in follow-up communication with volunteers and their sponsoring employer, as applicable
• Coordinates and schedules all external drives of needed items within businesses and other organizations
• Manage volunteer database and platform
• Maintains files, records, and other data concerning volunteer program
• Drafts, maintains, and publishes guidelines, best practices, and procedures for volunteer program
• Participates in community outreach
• Supports social media postings of volunteer activities
• Collects volunteer quotes and stories to aid in development-related activities
• Coordinates volunteer recognition and appreciation events and activities
• Performs other related duties as required

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and encourage others
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field highly preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing during volunteer activities
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
