Summary:The Material Warehouse Supervisor collaborates with various members of the maintenance department to ensure plant maintenance projects are successfully and timely executed. This role works diligently to ensure the overall inventory management process performs in a manner to support the overall goals of the plant from a production and efficiency perspective. The Material Warehouse Supervisor provides ancillary purchasing support to various plant departments to facilitate plant operations. The Material Warehouse Supervisor works diligently to maintain an orderly process and flow of materials for plant personnel use. This position is responsible for receiving, processing, and organizing incoming parts, supplies and tools, as well as maintaining critical spare part inventory.Essential Functions:Govern and oversee plant inventory control processes, procedures and systems including but not limited to:Prepare and maintain accurate accounting as well as organize the plant's parts and tools storage area.Check out inventory in D365.Tool/supply check out and return procedures.Ensure appropriate inventory levels for staple materials, new and spare parts and tools.Reduce waste through controlling parts and tool excess used for each task and proactively recovering unused items for future use.Ensures an organized and systematic methodology is applied consistently to the location, storage, etc. of all supplies, parts and tools and it mirrors the count reflected in the inventory control system.Validates that warranty repairs are properly reviewed and vetted prior to charge acceptance.Organize and maintain the warehouse through a variety of tasks including but not limited to:Performing opening and closure procedures of the warehouse and ancillary areasMaintain cleanliness through basic housekeeping activities.Stock incoming deliveries.Retrieve daily inventory check out sheets for processing.Provide administrative support of the inventory management process including but not limited to:Receiving all incoming deliveries properly in Microsoft D365 scan in & receiving documents to purchase orders.Properly document and check out current inventory to work orders & adjusting inventory for all items leaving from stored inventory.Enter in purchase requisitions for reorder replenishment of stock items.Conduct weekly & monthly audits of critical spare parts as instructed by supervision.Deliver parts, tools and supplies to departments.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor’s or Associate degree with 3-5 years of progressive leadership experience or a High School Diploma with 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience.2-3 years warehouse and inventory control system experience.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Impeccable attention to detail with respect to auditing/validating accuracy of systems, procedures and processes.Intermediate level experience using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, etc.).Forklift Operator certified.Preferred Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Business, Finance, Supply Chain.Functional accounting knowledge and skills.Forklift operation experience.Strong Microsoft Excel & Word knowledge and skills.Microsoft D365 or MP2 experience or similar asset management system.
