General Overview:
Candidate will maintain and keep the building equipment running, as well as conduct predictive and preventive maintenance on facilities equipment inside and outside the building. They will be responsible for repairs assigned that are typically of a complex nature and require a high degree of skill and thorough working knowledge of machine maintenance practices and techniques.
·Respond to maintenance requests, and handle any emergency and necessary repairs.
·Provide help in the maintenance of building interior and exterior surfaces including drywall repair, plastering, and plumbing.
·Manage safety systems such as fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, alarm contacts, and other building systems.
·Ability to use a multi-meter to troubleshoot equipment issues.
·Ability to use fabrication equipment (weld, lathe, mill).
·Perform electrical work up to and including 480v, 3 phase.
·Lighting repairs, replacements and upgrades.
·Inspect facility equipment to locate malfunctions and perform minor repairs.
·Troubleshoot, repair, and service certain parts of HVAC related equipment (everything excluding refrigerant circuit).
·Troubleshoot, repair, and service Air Compressors.
·Troubleshoot, repair, and service Generators.
·Assemble, disassemble, and install equipment and machinery.
·Maintain, clean, and store building equipment and renovate building’s physical infrastructure.
·Assess functionality of all safety systems and electrical systems.
·Supervise Contractors working on site.
·Adhere to all safety and health regulations.
·Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.
Requirements:
·Must be able to communicate issues and repairs verbally and electronically.
·Must have a valid driver’s license.
·Journeyman preferred.
·5 years in the field required.
