We are seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to manage one to two of our group homes in Brooklyn Center and Brooklyn Park. As a team leader and player, you will coordinate the overall running of the group homes by assisting the consumers with the daily living skills and needs, staff supervision, community activities and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Applicants must be flexible and be willing to work every other weekend (hours will vary based on the consumers’ needs, a combination of some morning and evening shifts required), be able to pass the Department of Human Services background study, applicants should have a working knowledge of the Minnesota Statute 245D rules and regulations, have strong organizational skills, and be competent in using various computer programs.
Responsibilities to be an excellent program coordinator: Oversee all consumers’ programs. Plan and coordinate health services.
Work with the Program Manager to plan and implement daily programs and activities.
Maintain a clean environment to ensure consumer and staff safety, support growth and program development, train staff on policies and procedures and other tasks as required.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s, Associate's Degrees with previous experience in group home setting dealing with children and adults in managerial role, strong leadership qualities and organizational skills with excellent written and verbal communications skills.
