Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Systems Analyst (SME)

Top Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Systems Analyst (SME) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the ability to bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role is critical in ensuring our client s Dynamics 365 implementation and operations align with business goals and deliver maximum efficiency and value.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical requirements for Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Conduct gap analysis to identify areas where existing systems do not meet business needs.
• Design and document Dynamics 365 solutions that meet business requirements.
• Configure and customize Dynamics 365 modules to support business processes.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.
• Coordinate with IT and business teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and status reports for stakeholders.
• System Testing and Quality Assurance:
• Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of Dynamics 365 solutions.
• Identify and resolve issues and defects during the testing phase.
• Ensure that solutions meet performance and security standards.
• Develop and deliver training programs for end-users and IT staff on Dynamics 365 functionalities and best practices.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Dynamics 365-related issues.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, processes, and user guides.
• Stay current with new features, updates, and best practices in Dynamics 365 and related technologies.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and enhancements.
• Implement and promote continuous improvement practices within the organization.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience (5 years) with Microsoft Dynamics 365 as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 modules (FCM, HCM, SCM).
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, business analysis, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Strong understanding of business processes and how they can be optimized with Dynamics 365.
• Preferred experience with retail/manufacturing industries.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications.
• Experience with data migration tools and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management practices.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and compliance standards.
