Position: Accountant

Salary: DOE (50-70k)

Location: Fort Lee, NJ (Hybrid)

Description

• Performs general accounting and other related duties in the accounting department,
• Prepares periodic balance sheets, profit and loss statements and consolidated package,
• Maintains the general ledger,
• Codes invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts, and closes the monthly books,
• Reconciles bank accounts, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks,
• Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collections,
• Verifies payment of invoices and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts,
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedule,
• Assist in preparing income tax and sales tax returns,
• Provides auditors with assistance to perform annual audit,
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills preferred
• Ability to communicate and work with HQ in Japan and other offices worldwide.
• Japanese skill is strongly preferred
• Bachelor's / Master's in Accounting
