Japanese Food Trading company is seeking an Inside Sales Coordinator to join their team! You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information and resolving logistics issues.

Pay: $23-28/hour (DOE) plus benefits
Status: Full time / Direct hire
Work Location: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

• Process daily transactions in SAP (Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Sales Invoices, Vendor Invoices)
• Coordinate with 3rd party warehouses in releasing outbound shipments, receiving inbound shipments, and managing respective documentation including Packing Lists, Bill of Ladings, etc.
• Arrange, track, and monitor inland and ocean freight for customer orders, in addition to negotiating rates as needed
• Manage appropriate inventory levels to prevent shortages, but also track and monitor slow moving or obsolescent inventory to minimize inventory losses
• Prepare, analyze, and report sales and profitability for department, on a monthly and ad hoc basis • Any support duties as assigned

​Qualifications:

• 2 years of Sales / Sales Operations experience, preferably in the food, other consumer products, or hospitality industry
• 2 years of Supply Chain and Logistics experience
• Working knowledge of Import and Export functions
• Advanced level Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word required
• Proficiency with ERP systems; preferably SAP
• Japanese language skill preferred
• Passion for Japanese Food industry
