Responsibilities for production supervisor

• Implementing applicable Health & Safety / Quality standards of production
• Driving consistent improvement of operation efficiency (outputs, costs, labor productivity, asset utilization) follow Factory Performance & Reliability standards
• Responsible for delivering key production KPIs
• Lead production team (shift leaders, team leaders, group leaders, technicians & operators) in dedicated production areas
• Coach & develop team members’ technical & leadership skills & capabilities
• Other as assigned by Production Manager
• Assumes responsibility for the efficient, timely, and accurate completion of Production functions
• Responsible for the efficient, timely, and accurate completion of Production functions
• Trains, advises, and counsels employees on current production methods

Qualifications for production supervisor

• At least 5 years Automotive Manufacturing industry experience
• Experience in Robotic Welding or BIW manufacturing setting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate ability in maintaining positive employment relations, maintain a high level of integrity, excellent organizational and PC skills
• Bachelors degree is desired but not necessarily required
• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a production work environment
