We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will play a critical role in managing various aspects of the accounts receivable process, including applying daily deposits, invoicing, setting up accounts, and assisting with month-end activities.
Responsibilities:
Apply daily deposits to customer accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
Generate and distribute invoices to customers promptly and ensure accuracy of billing information.
Review and verify credit references for new customers and set up accounts in accordance with company policies.
Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of customer accounts, including contact details, payment terms, and billing history.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collection.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes in a professional and efficient manner.
Assist with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, and preparation of financial reports.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams, to address customer issues and improve collections processes.
Conduct regular analysis of accounts receivable data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks.
Support audit activities by providing necessary documentation and assisting auditors as needed.
Provide support to the finance team on ad-hoc projects and initiatives as required.
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in accounts receivable or related finance role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of billing and collections best practices and regulations.
