Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Category Manager to lead the execution of our annual category review process. This role involves conducting market analysis, identifying potential cost savings opportunities, and expanding our supplier base in new markets. The ideal candidate will leverage industry knowledge and network contacts to identify and onboard new suppliers, continuously evaluate spend, and optimize costs through negotiation and supplier consolidation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the execution of the annual category review process, including market analysis and cost savings identification.
• Expand our supplier base in new markets, leveraging industry knowledge and network contacts.
• Continuously evaluate spend and identify opportunities to optimize costs through negotiation and supplier consolidation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and close single source gaps and/or new sourcing needs.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to anticipate potential risks and opportunities.
• Review historical spend to spot trends, assess supplier performance, and highlight areas for cost optimization, warranty, terms, freight optimization, and digital assets.
• Work with leadership and internal stakeholders to align on significant opportunities by spend category, including negotiating lower total costs, bidding out business, and/or identifying new suppliers.
• Provide monthly financial impact reporting along with a 30-day look-ahead.
• Research vendor capabilities and product offerings for future placement or replacement based on quality, service, and competitive pricing.
• Track expiration dates of contracts, assess the performance and relevance of ongoing agreements, and provide notice for renewal, renegotiation, or termination decisions.

Requirements:

• 3 years of experience in Procurement, Category Management, or Sourcing.
• Associate's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including moderate proficiency in Excel.
• Strong analytical background with pricing or negotiation experience.
• Proven track record of successfully executing category reviews, expanding supplier base, and driving cost savings.
