Our client is seeking a full-time, on-site Civil Engineer Project Manager Associate for our Irvine, CA location. This position offers an hourly salary ranging from $50 to $60.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess a BSCE and be registered as a Professional Engineer in California, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in land development, or an equivalent of ten (10) years in total work experience.
Candidates should demonstrate strong independent thought and decision-making abilities, as well as effective management and supervision skills. They must excel in establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients, public agency personnel, and peers within the organization.
Candidates must have experience in supervising engineering designers, managing project schedules and budgets, preparing contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work. Additionally, candidates should have significant experience in client and public-agency interactions.
Technical experience should include preliminary engineering design studies incorporating land use and zoning considerations, assessment of site constraints, and regulatory issues. Experience in preparing and processing tentative and final subdivision maps, public improvement plans, and development plans for both commercial and residential projects is essential. Candidates should also have experience in hydrologic studies and drainage reports.
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D or MicroStation/Inroads CAD is required.
The position requires extensive experience and demonstrated engineering abilities across all aspects of land development projects, as well as effective interaction with clients and public agencies.
