Safety Manager opportunity with a well-known publicly traded company. Our client is seeking a Safety Manager who will be responsible for developing, directing, and communicating plant-wide safety and security initiatives, manages the safety and security activities necessary for operation of in compliance with Government regulations, and adherence to Company Policies. This is an outstanding opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for safety program performance.
• Designs and develops safety policies, practices, and procedures to prevent work related accidents and injuries.
• Interacts with all levels of employees at their work area (onsite or remote) to actively promote safety throughout the company.
• Plans, promotes, organizes, and directs job safety audits.

Requirements

• 4-8 plus years of experience as a safety professional in a manufacturing organization.
• A bachelor's degree preferred and a degree in Safety, EHS or related field is a plus.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred.
• Strong communication skills with all levels of employees.
• Knowledge of HSE and OSHA regulations
