The Sr. Manager - Finance Automation reports to the Chief Accounting Officer and is responsible for leveraging technology to streamline and optimize processes within the organization with initial focus on the finance function. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation, design efficient solutions, and drive initiatives to streamline operations, increase productivity, and reduce costs. Strategic vision and technical expertise will play a critical role in driving digital transformation and ensuring the successful adoption of automation technologies across the organization. **This position is onsite in our Daytona Beach office. Relocation assistance may be offered.** Key Responsibilities: Process Analysis and Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze existing processes, identify inefficiencies, and design automation solutions to streamline workflows and improve efficiency. Strategic Planning: Develop and communicate a comprehensive automation strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to stakeholders and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Implementation: Oversee the implementation of automation projects from concept to deployment. Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure. Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of automation initiatives. Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize processes for maximum efficiency. Change Management: Drive change management efforts to ensure successful adoption of automation technologies. Provide training and support to end-users to facilitate smooth transitions and maximize benefits. Compliance and Security: Work with cross-functional teams, including IT, Legal and Tax, to ensure that automation processes comply with regulatory requirements, and to implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and mitigate risks. Vendor Management: Manage relationships with automation vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts, oversee service delivery, and ensure vendor compliance with SLAs. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments, including finance, IT operations, and HR, to understand their automation needs and priorities. Foster cross-functional collaboration to drive alignment and achieve common goals. Continuous Innovation: Stay abreast of emerging automation technologies, tools, and trends. Evaluate potential solutions to further enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and make recommendations based on business needs, feasibility, and ROI. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience (5 years) in a leadership role overseeing automation initiatives, preferably in a large enterprise environment. Strong technical expertise in automation technologies, such as robotic process automation (RPA), intelligent document processing (IDP), artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and workflow automation tools. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy that drives business results and delivers tangible benefits. The ideal candidate will be results-driven and must thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate must possess a strong drive to meet and exceed goals and be willing to take ownership of problems and make sound decisions. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze complex processes, identify opportunities for automation, and design innovative solutions. Must be adept at encouraging buy-in from stakeholders and continue to champion the process change throughout the organization Experience working with large-scale data, reporting tools, and other financial systems (preferably Oracle, OneStream and PowerBI) Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Automation Professional, Six Sigma) a plus. POSITION LOCATION This is an onsite position at the corporate office in Daytona Beach, FL TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS Up to 10% Nationally PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting of boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.
