About Cycle Zone Powersports:

Cycle Zone Powersports (CZ) is an authorized dealer for KTM Motorbikes, Can-Am Off-Road & Street, Yamaha Off-Road, Street Bikes, & Watercraft, Sea-Doo Watercraft, Bad Boy Mowers & Tractors, CFMoto Off-Road, and Tracker Boats. We specialize in the sale, service, and customization of all units we sell. Everyone at Cycle Zone Powersports rides and we pride ourselves in being active authorities in our sport. Our goal is to provide a large inventory of products, parts, and accessories, as well as the best possible service to every customer.

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for boats and power sports and provide the highest level of customer service. You’ll be responsible for building relationships with our customers, understanding their needs, and assisting them in making informed decisions about our products. This position is both for seasoned sales professionals and those looking to start a career in the industry.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting boats, UTVs, mowers, and other power sports equipment based on their needs and preferences.
  • Conduct detailed presentations and demonstrations of our product lines to potential buyers.
  • Provide expert knowledge about our products, including technical specifications, advantages, and comparisons to competing models.
  • Follow up with prospective customers and respond to queries or concerns.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure customers understand their financing options and obligations.
  • Assist team members in the Sales, Parts, Service, and Marketing Departments to ensure each customer is satisfied before, during, and after the sale
  • Participate in ongoing product and sales training to stay updated with industry trends.
  • Accurately reviewing inventory data to create successful sales strategies with the sales team
  • Develop relationships with vendors and manufacturers to ensure a good working relationship for learning and growth opportunities within the sales position for the dealership
  • Ensure the Cycle Zone Powersports-approved sales process is used with every sales opportunity
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and presentable sales floor and product display area.
  • Attend trade shows, sales events, and training as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. A degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • Prior sales experience, preferably in the car, marine, heavy equipment, or power sports industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in basic computer software, including MS Office. Experience with CRM software is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Enthusiasm and passion for boats and powersports.
  • Must be able to successfully complete all post-offer and pre-employment contingencies
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
