TOPS has partnered with a local manufacturing company to find several assemblers to add to their growing production team.

This position will entail a combination of parts assembly both by hand and some machine-aided assembly. Our client will train candidates on assembly process, we are looking for reliable individuals with a basic mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills, with the ability to be taught several assembly processes.

Job Details:
90 day temp to perm opportunity
Shift: Steady Daylight; but the ideal candidates will have flexibility to work off shifts if necessary.
Hours: 7am to 3:30pm - Monday to Friday schedule
Pay rate: Starting out at $15.25 per hour
Once hired by company (90 days) pay raise to $15.75
Once fully trained in role pay increases to $16.25

_Additional progression exists within this department and the company also offers opportunities in other divisions which allow employees to progress their careers and payrates.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Mechanical assembly of various products, work is performed using basic hand tools and working from digital work instructions and diagrams.
• Machine aided assembly – load and unload machine
• Set up production machine at start of shift – will train in this area
• Clean production machine at end of shift – will train in this area
• Testing of finished units (will train in this area), this is done with a pre-set testing rig, you would only be responsible for loading testing fixture, running testing program and then unloading test fixture.
• Soldering experience would be a plus but not required, willing to train on site.

Physical Requirements:

• Performing repetitive assembly tasks.
• Good hand eye coordination
• Good vision, some small parts assembly will be required.
