TOPS Staffing is Hiring an Inventory Clerk Near Pittsburgh, PA
The main purpose of this position is to stock incoming inventory and pull inventory/parts for the production floor. You will also be building assembly kits for the production team by pulling a list of parts from inventory and then placing them in a bag which will later go onto the production floor for assembly. Using computer system to update inventory counts as you add new inventory and then subtracting it out as you pull parts for production.
Job Details:
Location: Robinson, PA area
Hours: Daylight shift – 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday work schedule
Pay: Starting pay rate of $18 per hour
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper counting of parts, tools and raw materials stored in warehouse.
- Assist the Warehouse and production with locating materials.
- Load, unload, or move product or parts mainly by hand or with use of a forklift
- Visually inspect the materials for damage or improper packaging and manage in out.
- Stage products for empty boxes or shelves.
- Put assembly kits together for the production floor by bagging parts needed for specific jobs we call these assembly kits.
- Use of computer system to communicate with warehouse supervisor, process returns, updating inventory counts.
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Prior experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Any experience with computer based inventory systems would be extremely useful
- Ability to run forklift
- Lifting of boxes and parts - up to 40lbs on occasion – 15lbs more regularly
- On your feet for the majority of your 8hr shift.
- Tempered environment – Air conditioning and heating
