Torch Technologies has an exciting opportunity for aData Manager - Journeymanto support the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Electronic Systems Directorate (AFLCMC/HB). The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Electronic Systems (AFPEO/HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO's portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/PEO Electronic Systems Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS.
As the Data Manager,you will provide support to plan, develop, implement, and administer information systems for the acquisition, storage, and retrieval of data. Along with compiling data, perform associated data analysis and create special reports. The types of deliverables may include but is not limited to various types of reports, tracking tools, and/or a synopsis of the results of analyses or assessments.This is a full-time position located at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA, with the opportunity for a hybrid (telework in-office) work schedule.
Responsibilities
This position requires a highly motivated individual with vast data experience. Duties include, but not limited to:

Generating and evaluating equipment accountability and/or inventory logs and reports
-
Organizing, managing, and maintaining status of CDRL items, including receiving and sending CDRL items, recording activity and reporting activity to Government staff

Overseeing, performing, and reporting versions and staffing for government documents
-
Providing input, maintaining, and collaborating on records management plans
-
Performing and reporting records management duties per program office's records
-
Documenting and delivering file and management plans
-
Analyzing and planning for anticipated changes in data capacity requirements
-
Developing and administering data standards, policies, and procedures
-
Developing and implementing data mining and data warehousing programs
-
Evaluating and providing recommendations on new database technologies and architectures
-
Ensuring the rigorous application of information security/cybersecurity policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of data management services

Performing Microsoft SharePoint administration duties, responsible for providing technical support for the SharePoint environment including assessment and implementation of new capabilities-duties may include, but are not limited to:

Configuring SharePoint services and settings

Documenting SharePoint configuration and architecture
-
Managing site quotas and file size limits
-
Reviewing and monitoring usage reports
-
Managing content databases and creating new ones as required

Administering and maintaining sites

Managing site layout structure and content
-
Providing SharePoint support to end users

Citizenship:Must be a US citizen
Clearance:Must have and be able to maintain a Secret level clearance
Education:High School Diploma
Years' experience:7 years of directly related experience, 5 of which must be in the DoD. Additional experience may be accepted in lieu of these requirements.

Designing, normalizing, developing, installing, and implementing databases

Maintaining, monitoring, performance tuning, backup, and recovery of databases
