Torch Technologies is seeking a senior level analytical tool / application developer to support operational acceptance of emerging space command and control systems with the development of tools used to evaluate system performance and interoperability of space and missile defense emerging capabilities. System testing will be on operational, fielded systems and in laboratories with operationally representative hardware and software. Testing will be across the entire space enterprise to include ground, on-orbit, link, and command and control / battle management systems. 

The Individual Will:

• Interface with analysts, be responsible for taking analytical requirements for a defined set of data, and writing code to produce the desired analytical output.
• Automate the data parsing and analysis output to increase efficiency and the depth / breadth of analysis performed by the analysis team. 
• Shape tool development specific to analytical needs, prioritize tool development activities, maintain and report status of all tool requirements / development efforts. 
• Verify and validate tools prior to inclusion into the analytical “toolkit”. 
• Collaborate with external organizations to define and design the data analysis environment.

The candidate must have a demonstrated ability to assess complex data sets using analysis software tools. A successful candidate will have experience developing software applications using current programing languages such as Python, Anaconda, Java, or MATLAB. This position requires a self-starter with polished leadership and customer interface skills.

 Specific Requirements: 

• Master’s Degree, computer science, engineering, or related technical area.
• 10 plus years’ experience in software application development and automated data processing.
• Experience in developing software applications using current programing languages like Python, Anaconda, Java, or MATLAB.
• Possess the ability to clearly express ideas / concepts, perform as part of a team, and be capable of operating in a multi-tasking environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with MSOffice (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Experience in analysis of space systems or Ballistic Missile Defense System elements or command & control systems.
• Experience with modeling and simulation used in system of system testing.
• Possess and ability to maintain a DOD TS/SCI security clearance. 

Preferred Requirements:

• Operational or testing experience with command & control systems, overhead, and terrestrial sensors. 
• Experience with operational testing and interfacing with Director of Operational Test and Evaluation.
• Experience staffing products at a field / major command level.

Salary range: $135,000 - 150,000
