Certification: No certifications required. Procedure Professionals Association (PPA) certification must be earned within the first year in the role. Experience: This position requires proven, sustained experience in developing modern, effective Operations and/or Maintenance procedures for the manufacturing industry. Experience recruiting, training, developing, and leading a large team of geographically-dispersed teammates is required. The role provides full Profit & Loss leadership responsibility for the Procedure Development group. P&L management experience and results will be evaluated to differentiate candidates for this role. Job Summary: Provide full Profit & Loss (P&L) leadership for the Procedure Development group of Tormod (www.tormod.com). Procedure Development is one of Tormod’s seven (7) Client Solutions Areas. Develop, execute, and continually improve business strategies to grow Tormod’s Procedure Development revenue and profit. Lead business development for the group and serve as the primary liaison between Procedure Development and the corporate Hargrove & Associates Business Development team. Lead all aspects of Client Relationship Management. Team, align, and cross-sell effectively with the Directors of Tormod’s other Client Solutions Areas. Lead recruiting, training, career development, performance management, compensation, and retention initiatives to ensure that the group’s teammates are a sustainable competitive advantage. Learn continuously and prepare for personal career growth. Earn the right to be considered as a potential succession candidate for the Tormod Executive Director role. Key Responsibilities and Duties: Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Ensure the safety of all Procedure Development group teammates Recruit, train, develop, lead, evaluate, continually improve, and retain the group’s talent Develop and execute effective and innovative business improvement strategies, objectives, and action plans Develop and promote positive relationships with peers, clients, and other stakeholders Lead the group’s business development and interact closely with the corporate Business Development team Continually increase the group’s capabilities. Succeed with new clients and new markets Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes and their equipment Team leadership skills. Experience leading and managing geographically dispersed teams is vital. Continuous improvement. Data-based and fact-driven mentality.
