Our client, a leading construction company affiliated with Local 12 Heat and Frost Insulators, specializes in insulation for plumbers and mechanical HVAC contractors. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join their team and oversee union construction projects across NYC, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Long Island.

Job Description:

As a Project Manager/Estimator, you will play a crucial role in managing and estimating union construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing mechanical and plumbing system projects with a focus on insulation.
• Checking job sites in the city and supervising workers two days a week.
• Performing remote estimation tasks three days a week.
• Collaborating with clients, contractors, and Local 12 affiliates to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in mechanical and plumbing systems, with a preference for those experienced in insulation.
• Strong project management and estimation skills.
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
• Ability to work both on-site and remotely as required.
• Knowledge of union construction practices and standards in NYC and surrounding areas.
