This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:

You are excited about being in a highly visible role, providing business partnership and talent guidance to assigned client groups. In any given day, your role will support and drive all aspects of the employee experience, including talent selection, onboarding, coaching & development, employee relations, and managing day-to-day HR operational support. The role will also be engaged in supporting or leading department projects and cross-functional team effectiveness and change management activities. You’re also resourceful and collaborative, with a sharp eye for detail and strong organizational skills.

A Day in the Life:

The typical day is… atypical. You might be the primary HR/Talent partner and coach for the teams supported and provide strategic organizational perspective to leaders to ensure we instill a feedback-rich, open, collaborative and talent-centric mindset throughout these teams (and the company at large). Other responsibilities include:

  • Working with leaders, define roles and participate in talent selection decisions for these groups, including capability assessment, final hiring decisions, and compensation and rewards (working within company framework and working back to subject matter experts within broader HR team)
  • Support HR processes for respective teams (including performance & development process, talent reviews, culture survey communications & action planning and all other facets that impact the employee experience)
  • Be a present and respected resource to all teams you support; proactively oversee Employee Relations across functional areas.

To Land This Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 years experience in a HR Business Partner role
  • Experience working in a fast paced fashion/retail company.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in creating tools and processes to support a complex talent base.
  • Ability to establish a high level of trust and credibility with business partners.
  • Highly collaborative and team-oriented; ability to do what is right for the business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface comfortably at all levels.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
