Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Finance Analyst that Loads general accounting entries in one or more accounting systems a. Prepare a high-volume of journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation in a timely and accurate fashion b. Provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports c. Provide record of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions d. Review, track and maintain external and intercompany billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations e. Support inter-company transactions in Oracle Advanced Global Intercompany System as needed
Responsibility

• Month-end close a. Supports month-end closing activities including researching and analyzing issues, B/S reconciliations, booking the appropriate journal entries and performing the corresponding financial controls b. Helps ensure timeliness and accuracy of all month-end closing activities outlines below.
• Assist in evaluation of monthly financial statements and create additional supplemental reports. a. Review and interpret financial reporting requirements, rules, and regulations b. Provide accounting support to functional Financial Planning & Analysis analysts.
• Comply with governmental rules and local regulations
• Perform and document JSOX financial controls and corresponding evidence
• Respond to audit questions and requests from government entities, internal and external auditors.
• Prepared the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for legal local purposes (tax, labor and legal). As well as prepare and release procedures at government agencies.
• Register and control of foreign trade transactions and transactions with related parties (Prepare and review the files and tax/accounting back up).
• Comply with local tax regulations (indirect and direct taxes) including review HR labor regulation (taxes) and prepare all tax regulations.
• Complete any activities related with AR and AP.
• Performa physical inventories (assets and goods).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Areas Of Expertise & Special Skills

• Experience of the technology company and in the use of Oracle ERP desired.
• Proficient in Excel required
• Experience in reviewing requests, especially in accounting support of invoices and payments.
• Experience in an accounting / tax firms desired
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public
• Handle stressful situations with ease. Able to meet deadlines and act with sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication skills; demonstrated professional, tactful problem-solving skills with personal presence to interface with corporate decision makers.
