JOB DESCRIPTION
To represent the company and support the revenue and growth of the company by selling company’s products and services through in-home, showroom, and virtual consultations.
GOALS AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Create loyal raving-fan clients by providing an exceptional sales experience and professionally representing the company through all stages of the sales process.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
· Conduct in-home consultations to measure clients’ space, advise on style/color, and identify products that will best meet their needs and budget.
· Provide clients all relevant details regarding available accessories, upgrades, and options so that function meets style.
· Take organized notes, pictures, and leave clear instructions for installer follow up.
· Operate computer systems to pull pricing and provide clients with quotes for custom products including all relevant product and accessory details.
· Follow up on quotes as appropriate.
· Close sales in accordance with company sales standards.
· Write up and process sales in a professional manner and in accordance with company guidelines utilizing company provided tools and/or forms.
· Receive and resolve client complaints and problems in a timely manner
· Develop and maintain excellent relationships with vendor representatives to assist in problem resolution.
· Understand sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all clients.
· Stay up to date on latest trends, products, styles, colors, and technical developments in the industry through reading trade publications and participating in training sessions.
· Ensure an attractive and orderly company image at all times.
· Maintain samples in a clean, neat and orderly fashion and carry sample books (appx. 15 lbs. each) to and from appointments and office.
· Assist in the training of co-workers as assigned.
· Solicit follow up sales from existing clients
· Call potential clients to identify their project, needs, and to determine how/if we can help.
· Ensure installers have clear directions and all of the important details for large-scale projects and be available to support and advise as needed.
· Request reviews and referrals.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
MEASUREMENT OF PERFORMANCE
Ongoing and annual performance appraisals based upon job responsibilities, goals and objectives related to all listed functions as well as upon other special projects, as requested.
